PURPOSE:

The purpose of this guide is to empower facilitators in effectively managing the VA Support Forum, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment for Virtual Assistants (VAs) associated with the VA Academy of Fast Track FBA. The guide aims to provide a structured approach for facilitators to welcome participants, explain the forum's objectives, and guide discussions in a round-robin format, ensuring that each VA has the opportunity to share challenges and seek assistance.

Additionally, the guide emphasizes the importance of active participation, punctuality, and the facilitator's role in selecting relevant topics for further discussion. Beyond the forum, the purpose extends to promoting ongoing support by encouraging VAs to utilize the provided contact information (va.aftercare@fasttrackfba.com) for any additional assistance, ensuring that the Training and Aftercare Team remains accessible and responsive to individual queries or challenges. Overall, the guide serves as a tool to enhance the effectiveness of the VA Support Forum and strengthen the sense of community and learning among VAs.

Step by Step:

Welcome:

Welcome all VAs to the weekly support forum. Start by expressing gratitude for their participation and highlight the purpose of the forum as a space for collaboration and problem-solving.

Forum Overview:

Briefly explain the forum's objective - to foster a supportive community where VAs can share challenges, seek advice, and enhance their skills. Emphasize the collaborative nature and the opportunity for mutual learning.

Round Robin Format:

Outline the structure of the forum as a round-robin discussion. Each VA will have the chance to share their challenges or pose questions. Encourage an open and inclusive environment, ensuring everyone has a chance to contribute.

Topic Selection:

Explain that once individual questions are addressed, the facilitator will pick a common challenge or topic for further discussion. This ensures a dynamic and focused exchange of ideas during the forum.

Time and Frequency:

Specify the time and frequency of the forum – every Wednesday at 4 pm, running for one hour. Emphasize the importance of punctuality and active participation during the scheduled time.

Encourage Participation:

Encourage VAs to actively participate, share experiences, and offer insights. Emphasize that the forum's success relies on the collective engagement of the community.

Additional Support:

Highlight that beyond the support forum, VAs can always reach out for assistance through the Training and Aftercare Team at va.aftercare@fasttrackfba.com via chat or email. This ensures that any queries or challenges outside the forum can be addressed promptly by the dedicated team.

Closing Remarks:

Conclude the forum with gratitude for everyone's participation. Remind VAs of the ongoing support available through the forum and encourage them to return each week. Encourage them to use the provided contact information for any additional assistance.

By including the contact information, the guide ensures that VAs are aware of alternative channels for seeking help beyond the support forum.
